Executive Chef Richie

My culinary journey began at an early age, sparked by watching my Italian grandmother lovingly prepare meals. This ignited a passion for food that has driven me for my entire life. 

I took my first steps into the professional world at Twin Oaks Catering in June 1998, where I honed my skills until 2001. Seeking to further my education, I left to attend the prestigious Art Institute of New York City, graduating in 2003 with a degree in Culinary Arts.

After graduation, I spent two formative years at the Frog and the Peach restaurant, refining my techniques under experienced mentors. In July 2004, I returned to my roots at Twin Oaks Catering as the Sous Chef, a role that allowed me to contribute more directly to the kitchen's operations.

My hard work and dedication paved the way for my promotion to Chef in March 2006. This was a pivotal moment, as I took the reins and had the opportunity to craft menus and lead the culinary team.

Most recently, in July 2023, I assumed the esteemed position of Executive Chef while also taking on the responsibilities of Chief Operations Manager. This dual role has been immensely rewarding, enabling me to oversee both the creative and operational aspects of the business.

Throughout this journey, spanning over 20 years, my greatest source of pride has been the ability to delight and satisfy people through my culinary creations. It is a testament to the hard work, passion, and commitment I have poured into my craft, in the hopes of delighting customers from all walks of life.
